Flash on the Beach 08 is here again!

Wow, Flash on the Beach is in it's third year already! FOTB06 was awesome, FOTB07 was even better, and we are now pulling out all the stops to make FOTB08 the best yet! This year

We are working really hard to make Flash on the Beach 08 the best yet. We will have the Inspired Sessions in the evenings, we'll get the beers, you get inspired. We have 2 really cool workshops - Papervision3D and Actionscript 3 for Designers. We have even better student pricing this year! and the transferable FlexiPass is available again!

Pre-conference Workshops at Flash on the Beach 08

The addition of workshops last year was very popular! The workshops completely sold out VERY fast!

2 workshops run on the day before the main conference. A fantastic way to fast-track your knowledge, or get a more in depth session. Workshop attendees should bring their laptop and a hungry brain, plug in, hook up and get their hands dirty!

    You will have noticed that each year FOTB has moved forward a month. We started off in December, then moved to November, and this year we are in September. There is a method to our madness! The idea is to run Flash on the Beach at a time of year that it is actually possible to go on the beach and not freeze your nuts off! Fingers crossed for some good weather and maybe we will get a bit of a tan at this years gig!

    Is Flash on the Beach just Flash?

    Don't think of FOTB as just another Flash conference. The Flash bit of the title is more of a mentality or vibe than just a software product. What we mean by that is that Flash is a pretty cool tool - one of the coolest around, and it breeds a mentality that is cool too.

    The Flash community is supercool and very supportive of each other. They do not limit themselves solely to the product called Flash either. They design, create and deliver some of the best experiences on the web using a wide variety of tools and skills.
